My love for football has been a pivotal role in my life since I was seven years-old. Being that I was exposed to this great game at such a young age, my love and respect for football has grown immensely ever since. In addition, my winning desire and attitude had been set in existence at that age as well, as I had been exposed to winning and what it takes to be successful in this sport. I had the blessing of going to a bowl game each of my five years of little-league football, going to three Super Bowls and winning two, and winning two Lone-Star Bowl games. From these experiences, I realized that I had the ability to pursue football further in my life. I then brought my talents and dedication of football to the junior high and high school level, being a starter at the center position from 7th -10th grade and being moved to varsity my sophomore year. In the same year, I was fortunate enough to be apart of our school's historic run in the playoffs, ultimately leading to our State Championship in the Class 5A Division I playoffs. Two years later in my senior year, I became an out-right starter, leading to my selection of the All-District 1st Team. I have come to the realization that while my effort, intelligence, and grit are second to none, it is my physical stature that will ultimately hold be back from playing offensive line at the next level. However, I have aspired and dedicated myself in long-snapping and cutting weight to play positions that would equate with my height such as linebacker and fullback. I believe that dedication such as this illustrates my love for the game and how much it means to me. I hope that college coaches will ultimately see these traits in me and give me a chance.
