I think its on the kids, the schools can do everything in the world but if the kids dont believe or take it serious then they wont be ready!!!

Our school does a good job of preparing our student athletes.  We have grade checks every two weeks for eligibility, so coaches can ID problems before someone gets too far off the deep end.  Most of our teachers also realize the value of athletics in keeping a student motivated to do well in class and are generally supportive

Sometimes it can depend on what school you attend. It is important that athletes realize that college is not a cake walk. They have to put in the hard work in the classroom just like they do in their sports. A great education will take them so much further in life than sports.
